Your main mission will be to manage the gastronomic production of the events organized at the Basque Culinary Center, where you will have the opportunity to interact with different agents (departments, suppliers, institutions...), thus improving the event management processes of the BCC.  

Our main lines of work are focused on:  

• Planning, organizing and elaborating the mise en place of the events. 
• Cleaning and tidying up the corresponding kitchen facilities.  
• Ordering of raw materials / utensils necessary to develop the activity.  
• Promote the rotation of menus prioritizing seasonality and local products.    
• Participate in the coordination of work teams with students, promoting their training and motivation.  
• Control and monitor the budget, optimizing the use of available resources.  
• Organize and take advantage of food surpluses. 

Do you identify yourself with the following characteristics?  

• You have at least 1 year of experience working as a cook.  
• You have completed a Higher Technical Certificate in Kitchen Management, Gastronomy or equivalent training in the culinary field.  
• You stand out for your communication skills, your ability to plan and organize, as well as your autonomy at work.  
• You are motivated by collaborative work and enjoy being part of a team.  

You will make a difference if:  

• You have a high level of Basque and English (C1).  
• You have knowledge of contemporary and avant-garde culinary techniques.
