Basque Culinary Center and Marcas de Restauración sign a collaboration agreement for training and research

The restaurateur association Marcas de Restauración has signed a collaboration agreement with the Basque Culinary Center to develop advanced training, research, innovation and the promotion of gastronomy and food. The agreement was signed by Juan Ignacio Diaz, General Secretary of Marcas de Restauración, and Joxe Mari Aizega, Chief Executive of the Basque Culinary Center.

The agreement covers collaboration between the two organisations to develop training activities run by both entities. These include practical sessions for BCC students in businesses affiliated with Marcas de Restauración, and working together to deliver training programmes.

Provisions are also made for research and innovation projects by both organisations, including participation by the Basque Culinary Center in the innovation committee at Marcas de Restauración, amongst others.
