We are looking to hire a Professional Culinary Instructor to join our Lifelong Learning and Tailor-Made Courses area. We are seeking someone with a solid culinary background who enjoys sharing their expertise and wants to contribute to the professional development of gastronomy professionals through practical, up-to-date training that is closely connected to the realities of the industry. 

Your mission will be to collaborate with other professionals in the area to design and deliver training programmes aimed at gastronomy professionals. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include... 

• Designing, developing, and delivering training programmes for professionals. 
• Contributing to the development and updating of teaching materials. 
• Collaborating with instructors and industry experts to create high-value learning experiences. 
• Integrating culinary trends, innovation, and scientific knowledge applied to cooking into training programmes. 
• Representing Basque Culinary Center in training activities and specific projects. 

Do you identify with the following profile? 

• Higher Vocational Qualification in Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, or a related field. 
• At least 5 years of experience working in fine dining restaurants or Michelin-starred establishments. 
• Advanced level of English (C1), with the ability to teach in English. 
• Strong command of both traditional and modern culinary techniques. 
• Knowledge of food science and culinary innovation. 
• Proficiency in standard office software. 
• Availability to travel. 

You will stand out if you... 

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Gastronomy, Tourism, or a related field. 
• Have experience delivering formal or non-formal training. 
• Have a high level of Basque (C1). 
• Are organised, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills. 
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in different contexts.
