Would you like to form part of an international pioneering institution in the world of Gastronomy and its value chain? Would you like to help respond to some of the challenges facing companies and entrepreneurs in the field of gastronomy and food?

Are you interested in forming part of the team that shapes the services of the new centre of BCC GOe (Gastronomy Open Ecosystem)? The Global Development area of the Basque Culinary Center needs to incorporate the following professional profile to its team:

 

Developer of Design, Innovation and Business Growth services and projects.

Context and Main Objective of the Position:

The main tasks of this position are the design, coordination and execution of strategy and innovation projects with companies and institutions, with the following main missions:

  • Support in the creation of the methodology and proposal of advanced services to companies, institutions and startups in the food and gastronomy sector of the new Gastronomy Open Ecosystem (GOe) centre.
  • Define methodology and intervention content to add value.
  • Definition and deployment of services to be offered.
  • Ability to operate in innovation and growth projects:

o Defining innovation and growth challenges for companies.

o Developing venture building projects for companies

o Supporting corporate entrepreneurship projects

o Events and seminars on trends & foresights

  • Connection with the international haute cuisine ecosystem and players (proposal of alliances, major challenges ....)
  • Coordination and management of projects, teams and client relations.
  • Identifying and attracting potential clients.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in the fields of management and business development (ADE, LEINN, etc.).
  • Work experience of around 5-10 years in the functions described.
  • Experience in strategic definition projects, corporate transformation, design of new business models, products, servitization and experiences.
  • Experience in economic and market viability plans.
  • Person used to interact at management level in companies and public organisations.
  • Professional experience in strategy, marketing departments and/or strategic consultancy firms.
  • Experience in international projects.
  • High interlocution and writing skills (C1) in English and Spanish.

 

It will be an asset:

  • Proven experience in:

o Agile methodologies: Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile...

o Proven international experience in companies in the gastro-food value chain.

o High ability (C1) to communicate in Basque.

  • High capacity for:

o Working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.

o Developing different activities in parallel

o Continuous learning

  • Interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and organisational skills
  • Resolute and creative attitude
  • Commercial and business development orientation
