They will be responsible for coordinating the sustainability area within the
CCTT, playing a hybrid role that combines management and technical input.
Their main functions are as follows:
-Design and execution of impact research projects, with the aim of generating
knowledge that can be transferred to the business world and positioning the
center as a benchmark in this field. Global vision of all the department’s
projects. Coordination of projects in the area (people, resources, etc.).
-Seeking funding for the development of projects and searching for strategic
cooperation. Financial traction of the department.
- Together with the management of the Center, they will participate in the career
development of the people in their charge, with special emphasis on their
technical training.
-Development of innovation projects with companies addressing issues such as
recovery of by-products and the incorporation of technologies that help to
achieve more sustainable processes, etc., and projects aimed at different
administrations for economic and social development based on the promotion of
sustainability in the gastro-food sector.
We are looking for professionals with experience in the sector, with the capacity
for learning, leadership and teamwork and used to working in a goal-oriented
way.
Requirements
University degree, preferably in a technical field. A PhD (national or from
another country) will be a considerable advantage.
Professional background of at least 10 years working in R&D&I
departments, and if some of this experience involves working in a
business this will be viewed very positively. Experience in circular
economy projects
Experience in managing European projects.
Working languages: Spanish, English and Basque.
