At Basque Culinary Center, we believe in the power of gastronomy as an educational tool. That's why we are launching Chef de la Clase, a program developed in collaboration with Eroski, that invites children aged 8 to 12 to discover the world of cooking in a fun, healthy, and engaging way. If you're excited about sharing values like healthy eating, respect, and collaboration through an experience that goes beyond the kitchen, we want to meet you! 

Your main mission will be to lead the educational and culinary sessions of the program at Eroski hypermarkets in Bizkaia, working alongside the Kitchen Assistant and under the coordination of the project team. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Planning and delivering the sessions with a playful and educational approach. 
• Teaching basic concepts of cooking, hygiene, and nutrition tailored to children. 
• Creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for all children. 
• Coordinating with the assistant and the project team to ensure smooth session development. 

Do you identify with the following qualities? 

• You have a Vocational Training degree (Intermediate or Higher) in Cooking, Gastronomy, Tourism, or a related field. 
• You have previous experience in educational contexts or working with children. 
• You have a high level of spoken Basque (C1 level). 
• You combine a passion for cooking with a calling for education.

• You have experience facilitating workshops or activities with children. 
• You are proactive and flexible when it comes to teamwork.
