At Basque Culinary Center, an internationally renowned institution whose mission is to develop the potential of gastronomy as an economic and social driver, we are seeking to incorporate a new team member to take on the role of Director of Business Development and Sponsorships. 

Your main mission will be to lead and manage the Business Development and Sponsorships department, which drives partnerships and collaborations with companies and institutions within the Basque Culinary Center ecosystem and its brands. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Develop and implement partnership and sponsorship strategies within the Basque Culinary Center ecosystem. 
• Identify and evaluate new sponsorship opportunities, tailoring the value proposition for each potential sponsor. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction through ongoing follow-up. 
• Negotiate agreements with key partners, supporting the account management team in negotiations. 
• Foster loyalty among partner companies and organizations, seeking new growth opportunities in the services provided and their impact. 

Do you identify with the following profile? 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar. 
• At least 8 years of solid experience in business development and B2B sales. 
• High-level (C1) communication and writing skills in English, Spanish, and Basque. 
• Strong planning, management, and organizational skills, with strategic vision. 
• A continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail. 
• Excellent relational skills to maintain and build a wide network of collaborators. 

You will stand out if you: 

• Hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or in Marketing and Sales. 
• Have previous experience as part of a management team. 
• Possess experience and knowledge of the gastronomy or food sector.
