On 28 May, Culinary Action! will bring together “gastro-entrepreneurs” who will showcase their success stories

16 May 2018

Culinary Action! workshops of entrepreneurs from the world of gastronomy arrives in Alicante on Monday 28 May 2018. This is a workshop for professionals which focuses on promoting debate based on the success stories of chefs and hoteliers who are entrepreneurs, presented and discussed by their protagonists: chefs who, as owners and/or managers of their businesses, assume the role of entrepreneur, and other professionals linked to management and innovation in the hospitality sector. The workshop is organised by the Basque Culinary Center, the City Council of Alicante and Gastroeconomy and is sponsored by HEINEKEN.

With this meeting, Alicante follows Madrid as the second venue for the Culinary Action! programme of workshops for 2018. The event is structured around round table discussions and presentations by 12 entrepreneurs and professionals from Alicante’s gastronomic sector, both from the city itself and from the province (chefs, hotel and catering entrepreneurs and managers). The participants will include María José San Román, Diego Coquillat, Fernando Pérez Arellano and Susi Díaz.

It is aimed at professionals in the gastronomy sector, who are setting up or planning to set up their own businesses, with the aim of bringing about a debate which is useful to the local hospitality sector, based on the experience of local chefs/entrepreneurs. In other words, it is an event that revolves around the success stories of entrepreneurs, with the aim of generating debate and the exchange of ideas on business models, management styles and market trends.
