The Basque Culinary Center has launched a new round of its initiative which rewards entrepreneurial talent in the food and gastronomy sector, the Culinary Action Startup Prizes. Registration is open until January 18th and those entering will be in the running for ‘Best Startup’ and ‘Greatest Innovation’ in the food sector, with the winners receiving a cash prize, a promotional video and a mention in Food Tech Magazine.
The initiative recognises national startups which offer innovative solutions in the food and gastronomy sector.
The call for applications will close on January 18th and the shortlist of six startups will be announced on January 22nd. On February 5th and 6th — as part of the 5th International Forum of Culinary Action Entrepreneurs held in the Basque Culinary Center — the six finalists will pitch to potential investors and in doing so compete for the ‘Best Startup’ and ‘Greatest Innovation’ prizes.
