Project Manager (Territorial Development Agreements)

Basque Culinary Center, a unique ecosystem where training, innovation, research and entrepreneurship coexist with the aim of developing and promoting gastronomy, understood as the reasoned knowledge about what we eat and how we do it, needs to hire a Project Manager to be responsible for the overall management of the Territorial Development Agreements, which include training, innovation and territorial promotion activities, among others.

 

Context and Main Objective of the Position

We are looking for a person who will take overall responsibility for the planning, execution and analysis of the results of the projects he/she manages, driving the internal and external project team towards the achievement of the established objectives.

 

Its main functions will be the following:

  • Designing the planning of each project, identifying collaborators, establishing milestones and indicators, necessary resources and risks, as well as ensuring compliance with this.
  • Advise on the identification of customer needs and define solutions that achieve greater loyalty and long-term collaboration.
  • Actively participate in the milestones of each project, as well as ensuring that each collaborator fulfils their commitments.
  • Follow up that all indicators (budget, schedule...) are evolving as agreed and design and implement corrective measures if necessary.
  • Generate and review documentation created, deliverables, project status reports, etc., ensuring that all documentation is validated and properly filed.
  • Liaise with clients, partners and stakeholders to manage discrepancies, planning deviations and risk management during the project lifecycle.
  • Generate relationships and networks of actors in the gastronomy sector.
  • Analyse the impact and results obtained at the end of each project.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

A person oriented to innovation, continuous improvement and achievement with high analytical, synthesis, collaboration and change management skills. You must be used to working in dynamic environments, multidisciplinary team and international projection.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree, preferably in business administration and/or technical careers.
  • PMP certificate or additional training in project management is desirable.
  • Training and professional experience in gastronomy.
  • Proven experience in project management in the gastronomy sector.
  • Proven experience in business consultancy projects will be an asset.
  • High interlocution and writing skills (C1) in English and Spanish. Ability to communicate in Basque will be an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience in agile project management methodologies will be an asset.
  • Availability to travel.
