Chile will be the next stop for the Culinary Connection initiative promoted by the Basque Culinary Center

13 March 2014

Chefs Francis Paniego (3 Michelin stars in two of his three restaurants), Paco Morales and BCC teacher Iñigo Cojo will make up the delegation along with Joxe Mari Aizega, Director of the Basque Culinary Center.

The goal is to promote cutting edge cuisine in Chile and exchange culinary concepts and experiences with the top Chilean chefs and cooking schools.

The delegation will participate in the Ñam Congress, the most important gastronomic congress in Chile, where it will present the Basque Culinary Center and serve a dinner for 120 diners together with three Chilean chefs - Axel Manríquez, Pilar Rodríguez y Francisco Mandiola. In addition to other activities they will also lead a modern cuisine workshop at INACAP, one of Chile’s best culinary arts schools.

Culinary Connection is looking to encourage innovation and vanguard in the kitchen and connect the cooks of the world along with educational institutions that are dedicated to contemporary cuisine thus promoting an international culinary network.
